Baby Shawl

This was my last crochet project made earlier in the year while waiting for a total knee replacement. I really enjoyed making this and was pleased with the finished product.

Mislaid Patterns and Bits of Wool

My DD recently returned a file of  knitting and crochet patterns that I thought were lost forever. This inspired me to get out the crochet hooks, knitting needles and the pile of books that haven't seen the light of day for a while. Also lurking in the bottom of a wardrobe was a bag of odd balls of double knitting wool. I have decided to make this afghan again, ( I made a similar one in green and purple about ten years ago) but sadly when moving house I decided to give this and a few others away due to lack of storage space.

The motifs are quick and easy to make and this is a picture of my completed ones so far.
